If the delegates are looking for a way to share their work, please consider using 99online.us. I think you will find it a most suitable platform.

I found it wholly unsuitable. Magnanimous in concept; poorly designed and haplessly defended. One woman's opinion. I'm just a librarian/educator/information designer, though. What do I know?

That was harsh, clay, but I do agree with you. Ruff your heart is in the right place, but that site needs some more TLC before its ready to go public. A little more CSS will go a long way, for starters.

Its just a popularity thing. You can Exalt to increase their Karma by 1, or Smite to decrease that person's Karma.

Karma laughs in the face of a cyber scoring system.

The 99online.us site went online (and has been public) since Jan 1, 2012. So, it is not waiting to go public (so any talk of "before it goes public" is delusional in nature). There are 80 Editors and 330+ hits per day. Try in Google: Occupy writers leaders . It was not made for any particular group (and certainly not for this very hard-to-find 99 Declaration group) -- and such thoughts, if believed, is simply more delusional-type thought. Rather, it was made for Occupy and the 99% and any and all of its responsible groups with concerns at the national level. Some act like I built it yesterday and am seeking feedback. Some respond as if I am offering it up to you in particular and waiting for tons of feedback and your approval. I _did_ take feedback and it _was_ improved extensively between Janauary and April (and is now in its final state) -- most production sites reach a final state, so they are predictable and known to regular users, not to mention that it avoids major mistakes large edits can cause, leading to crashes. The improvements were made back when responsible people (people not totally capativated and contained by the non-public, non-indexed, for-profit, on-wall-street Facebook crap) HAD ALREADY FOUND IT. Then, during that period, much feedback was taken and many improvements were made. Again, after so much change, a production site normally becomes stable. It offers many things you do not have but can use and they all have standard Drupal interfaces that any sites using those modules ALL have. The menus are common Drupal menus. If you don't like maroon, too bad.

P.S. Let me help you get real (that is : with reality): Drupal website builders and admins absolutely love the 99online.us site (I am a member of a major metropolitan Drupal group, and have gotten all their feedback). So officially there is nothing wrong with the site -- and, if you think there is, at best, you just don't like Drupal. And consider this: Most see Drupal as the best open source content management system on the Earth. It is used by the white house and many major universities (more than any other open source CMS). It may be time for some of you to do some self-reflection for the good of the rest of us.

While I'm / we're on the topic of critiquing web sites: You (The 99 Declaration) could have used the open source simple machines kit ( like occupywenatcheevalley.org did) and have a completely comparable set of Forums only without the obnoxious ads that you have on this site. occupywenatcheevalley.org is run by a non-technical person and the simple machines kits work great for him. Better than this thing you have.

You know of the webmaster of occupywenatcheevalley.org. We have heard he created fire before he created 10101010101010. He writes all his programs in machine code using the force.

No need to feel offended, lorlarz. I just have a lot on my plate right now before jumping into learning a new CMS.

I really don't care where we communicate...I just wish we could find each other, find our common ground, then get on with our efforts! KJ
