There is a rumor that we need a permit from Mayor Nutter to hold our congress? Is this true? Is it really needed? Have steps been taken to get one?
Have you invited Mayor Nutter to open the Congress? We are creating business for his city in coming to Philadelphia and we are doing something historic under his watch. Let's be inclusive!Invite him. He is a nice man!

What is the status of your budget and fundraising goal?
We who are against money in politics should model good ethical behavior here?
How much is in the till? Do we have enough to run the three day meeting?

Did Michael Pollok resign from his leadership position? If so,why hasn't this been communicated to the delegates? What is the process for selecting his successor?

Who is currently on the Steering Committee? Please give us short bios of the members so we can get to know them, trust them, and feel comfortable with them leading us to the Promised Land.

Can we start building coalitions with other political organizations? Especially if the grievances we think most likely will be selected have cross-organizational appeal. Let's start partnering with like-minded organizations so public support for our cause can grow.

How about a Daily Newsletter to the delegates from the steering Committee to keep us all well informed and on the same page? Ask a team of delegates to do this for you. It will engender cooperation and communication between the leaders and the led.

How about a Mission and Values statement that starts by requesting that all act according to the Golden Rule and pursue non-violent methods of social change? And that our leaders treat all with respect and dignity as do the led?

How about passing a rule that bans this Cickay guy from the forum every other day so you folks can get some rest from his eternal questioning?

What has been done to attract the media to our cause? Please be specific with what actually has been done. What has succeeded? What has failed?
Who is in charge of media outreach now?
Contacts: Michael Pollok East Coast Media Contact The 99% Working Group, Ltd. Phone: 845-853-2292 E-Mail: michaelpollok@the99declaration.org Robert Manning West Coast Media Contact The 99% Working Group, Ltd. Phone: 925-787-3354 E-Mail: robertmanning@the99declaration.org
Is it Michael and Robert? But Michael has resigned. Who took his place?
Shouldn't we be using the combined strength of our delegate candidates to bombard the media with standard template letters of interest?
What media events are you planning for while we are in Philadelphia? Is the kickoff ceremony going to be dramatic? Will it be a good ACTION NEWS segment?

Is Michael the only lawyer in our group? If the Plan is to litigate our grievances, now that Michael has resigned, who will be doing this?
Do we need to look for some Philadelphia lawyers?

Where is the information posted on the old Forum? There was some really neat stuff on it.I miss it already. Was it destroyed accidentally or on purpose? Who was responsible for destroying it? Who made the decision to shut down the old Forum and WHY?

Our values statement should also celebrate the wonder of honest and open communication! Leadership can do great things when there is free flowing information all around the organization: the top, the middle, the bottom, all on the same page, moving forward together.
Talk to us!
It will be like jazz. A beautiful thing. And in Philadelphia, Mr.Coltrane. How sweet.

Why are so few delegate candidates involved in these fora? Can someone start reaching out to them by asking them to help with some basic tasks of the Congress?

If there is a fear that Michael Pollok truly hasn't quit because he hasn't submitted resignation papers, have an attorney hand deliver these papers to him to force the issue so there is not a cloud of confusion as to whether the King will return or not return at the 11th hour.
But if he wants to lead, let him lead.
We need leadership now,not an Achilles sulking in his tent whining about the loss of his precious slavegirl.
Time is running out.

Set up a team of experts to cogently write the grievances. Hammer it out now before the Congress. There will be no time to do the heavy lifting then. We will tweak it in Philly and then vote!
The team should be a diverse cross-section : left and right, male and female, racially diverse, a rainbow coalition.
THIS IS THE MOST IMPORTANT PART OF THE CONGRESS. LET'S GET IT DONE. ASSIGN A TEAM LEADER, CANVASS FOR TEAM MEMBERS WITH A DEADLINE FOR SELECTION AND GET MOVING.
