I understand this a life changing, history altering thing we are doing here, and it is about time we as Americans stood up. Yet, I cannot, since the economy is the way it is, come to this meeting in Philly. Would it be still okay, with me as a delegate, to correspond on here, posting what my vote is, and what i would like to see changed? Is there still conference calls and such that are organized for us?

I've been advocating on here to use the funds that the 99D has on some communication technology instead of on the voting systems. Hopefully we can get you in on a Skype chat or something similar.

We're in the process of trying to figure that out. The SC is considering some solutions and many of us delegates here are also looking into what might be available in Philly, as well as bringing some of our own devices to provide as much bandwidth as we can for video-conferencing/streaming.
There are some options being considered to allow those delegates unable to attend to still be able to take part in the conference. As we progress towards the conference in these final weeks, we will keep everyone updated on what we can offer individually for technology and what the Steering Committee may find for us.

If we dont start getting our @#$% together I will just not show up to the little horse #@$% session that has been put together..... My time unlike the jokes that I have seen on this is valuable and I will not be sitting around or supporting something that will result in nothing... I am going up to be a delegate and I have not seen one single uniform method of communication and am getting tired of this organization having the methods of a 4th grader..... Fellas get your @#% together or stop wasting our time......

The forum wont bring us together we will need to have something where we can talk and communicate but I hear nothing about that. Im sick and tired of this being something for pollock to exploit, and it not doing what it was supposedly MEANT to do. If I cannot communicate with anyone except through a forum and that is what we are relying on I will not be showing up because I cant put my trust in the organization!

The forum may not get us the fastest response we want, but it is useful. The CC 2.0 may not get the immediate change in Super PACs and politics we want, but it is a great start. You may not like how Michael Pollock acts. There may be Occupiers, Tea Party people, Republicans and even FBI agents against us. I do Not care. This is bigger than all of them combined.
Ronald Reagan and Thomas Jefferson would both be proud of what we are doing.
The chance for an improved democracy is well worth the time and trouble. Joseph turbo trenton tucker or what ever your name is, you need assistance for sure.

This forum is not a perfect venue for communication, I'll agree.
However, part of the desire for a forum was so that we had an actual record of our discussions, especially after the loss of the forums on the main site. It also provides a central point for networking with other delegates and, if these forums continue to see use after the conference, with other like-minded individuals.
We're all trying to figure this out on the fly, now that the elections are over and the delegates should be handed more of the responsibility.
I, for one, have always felt that this action was moving too quickly and that it needed more time to reach greater fruition. I see the conference as a good start, but that there will be much more work to be done... and not just delivering the petition, but in gathering support from the population in order to better bring about some of the changes we'd like to see.
Skype, conference calls, email, physical meet-ups... all of them are excellent, but the forums serve the unique purpose of allowing all of those to be planned.
Believe me, right now these forums were a temporary measure to get as many delegates talking to one another before the conference. If we continue using them after the conference, I will be looking into some of the paid services, including the paid side of the chat system and trying to find an integrated voice communication that can be applied to the boards.
Things might not be what you want at the moment, turbo, but this is what we have after losing access to communications on the main site. Many of us are volunteering the free time we have available to try and have things running as smoothly as possible, but we had very little time to accomplish a great deal.
Out of all things, what we are doing requires patience. It's trying and irritating... I've found it frustrating, myself, and have had moments where my patience has failed or been lacking; however, that is what we all need to exercise in the greatest amount we can.
We're not going to change things over night. We aren't going to provide a magical cure.
We are, however, going to get the research for that cure started and on the right track.
Michael Pollok set this up for all of us, regardless of all of the controversy surrounding him. We have the tools, we have the drive... it's all on us to make or break this idea.
I'm all for making it, personally.

This... Seriously, this is a million times better than ANOTHER Facebook page.
I agree that things moved too fast with this. A little more planning could have improved this entire process greatly. Still, we have to work with what we got now. Lets make some Lemonade!
