Does the SC plan on releasing the feedback on the proposed agenda?
Has the SC looked at the delegate polls on this forum to gauge support for their agenda?
Will the SC consider revising said agenda before the conference to bring it in line with the expressed will of the majority of delegates?

I think the consensus (from what I have read on here and elsewhere) is the delegates are going to vote down the agenda before doing anything else.

Good questions frankleespeaking. mhuttman, just wondering: Do you think the entire Agenda will be or should be "voted down" or are there certain parts to the Agenda that are not objectionable and could possibly be retained (i.e., through the voting process by delegates)? The reason I am asking this question because I have asked myself “Is the Agenda a true business-like or conventional Agenda or it is a conglomeration of meeting times, detailed descriptions of meeting activities, instructions, procedures, rules, general information, etc.”?
Maybe we should have a simple one/two page Agenda sheet and also a seperate and distinct backup ‘Convention Guideline Document’ for instructions, procedures, rules, etc.

Basically, if you have an idea for a better agenda go ahead and type it up. Post it here so that people can see some alternatives. I'm sure a couple of us have ideas for agendas that we can vote on once we get on site.

V, I agree, and I think a backup plan has already largely been created here and in the google docs folder I started for this. docs.google.com/folder/d/0B5TLOEx_hDsiN0xST0dYRnVBdFU/edit(anyone who wants editing capabilities, just PM me) More important is the point I think you just made though...we should really separate the AGENDA from the PROCESS. I don't really have an issue with the basic structure and timeline for the agenda, though I do think there are things the delegates may want to add on to it, such as discussing and voting on a mission/vision statement and a statement of belief. What I and others really seem to be objecting to really has more to do with the Process that is being proposed than it does with the basic agenda. What we really need is a place to keep all the PROPOSALS pertaining to procedure, strategy, organization etc. that delegates (or others) would like the Congress to consider (i.e. anything that does not directly deal with possible grievances/solutions to include in the Petition...those should be kept separately). I would suggest delegates use the Delegate Poll and Question section to gauge support and initiate discussion on their proposals, but we should also have a place where we can compile and organize these proposals, and if someone wanted to be the point person for this, and use the google docs folder I created, I think that would be very useful for the delegates. I would probably suggest doing it in a spreadsheet so as to easily sort. I would include columns for who made the proposal, a basic category, one line description, and the detailed proposal (if it is too long, a link to a word document could be used). Volunteers?

frankleespeaking,
Thanks. You and I and I am sure other delegates are all 'on the same page' here. Your post expanded my thoughts much better than I initially expressed. It's a very important administrative topic and recommendation to the SC: “…separate the AGENDA from the PROCESS.” Thus, the probability is that delegates will approve the Agenda without much discussion or debate and may add an Agenda item such as a 10 minute rest stop break. Voting on the PROCESS as you mention is the key and if there is a backup document that numbered and listed rules, instructions, procedures, etc. for the convention the delegates can proceed with discussion and line item voting.
I am still wondering if the SC will release a revised “Proposed Agenda & Schedule For Continental Congress 2.0” this week. I submitted 22 comments and have not received a response whatsoever. It is what it is and it will be what it will be.

V, this is more of a volunteer operation IMO. I don't expect nor want the SC to tell me what to do. Take the time and write up your Agenda/Schedule plan on here and lets discuss it, but don't wait on others to jump in and get that done.
I have an idea for what I want the agenda to look like, but its a selfish idea because it goes with my idea for voting on the grievances in elimination "rounds." The consensus on here seems to be that we do the voting in a different manner.
