Hello fellow CC2 delegates,
Regretably, I will be unable to enjoy celebrating my freedoms & liberties this July 4th, or meet you all personally at the CC2.0 in Philladelphia, as I will not be attending. I genuinely hope it is a smashing success, a stellar 99% Declaration is crafted, and most importantly, the organizational reforms are passed that restore trust & confidence in this 99D organization's legitimacy, efficacy, and core democratic values, which I believe are necessary for this organization to successfully mobilize loyalty, public support, media coverage, and thus, the political pressure required to get some fundamental democratizing reforms passed by Congress, state legislatures & Supreme Court (Citizens United overturn).
Some of you know that I invested a good deal of time, thought, effort (i.e. emails, writings on erased forum) on trying to help this organization improve its efficacy, legitimacy & support, and even participated in 2 of the Steering Committee conference calls. I believe this organization has amazing, untapped potential, and will continue to offer my talents, labor to ensuring either the success of a reformed-version of this entity, or similarly-oriented "99%-movement" efforts in the future.
It was genuinely an honor to meet some of you online, and I enjoyed the rigorous exchange of ideas and occasional jokes.
Unfortunately, I am yet another elected delegate who has decided against attending the CC2.0.
If I can be of any assistance, let me know.
Good luck, CMT
p.s. Here a piece to motivate you & remind you who benefits from counter-productive infighting: Exclusive: Adelson's Pro-Romney Donations Will Be 'Limitless,' Could Top $100M
