Chris Tucker came up with the Patriotic 99% Caucus. Jon Denn has mentioned a Reform Caucus. This got me thinking, what sort of other names we might give to a caucus that would make people want to join?
First, I came up with the Common Sense Caucus, which fits well with two of my side projects--the Concerned Citizens Coalition and the Movement to Restore Sanity.
Tonight I came up with a bunch more names. Most of them were crap, but I did amuse myself for about 5 minutes. This one might be a winner though:
Greater Good Caucus
Anyone else got one they want to try out?

I like Dawn's & Mike G.'s (F. L. Speaking) suggestions for caucus names. Many other names would surely suffice. My aim was to stick a label on a real, living, informal caucus that existed in the erased original forum history & a ragtag group of people bombarding each other w/ emails about how to rescue the CC2/99D, during the Orwellian blackout of communications on the original site.
While the name of a caucus should ideally reflect some meaning, there must be some interests/values uniting the members, who may disagree on many other things. I suggested some possible core principles, and explicitly said the name, core unifying themes should be decided/changed by those who were already a caucus "in the closet" due to the blackout. Giving them a name & a place to organize/discuss was intended to open it up & institutionalize the accumulated areas of consensus in an entity, which others could join, leave or change.
