In 1911, 31 states had applied for an Article V convention. That is 2/3 of 46 states. Congress refused to convene delegates.
Since then, every problem embodying every grievance I can find has been created by the resulting unconstitutional government acting with increasing lawlessness and decreasing accountability.
That congress has not convened delegates for an Article V convention is the logical First Grievance.
Article V is your first constitutional right. It is the right that can protect all other rights. It is the activity that makes the people "masters of congress and the courts".
However, for the people to be "masters of congress and the courts" they need free speech to create informed opinion. Abraham Lincoln
"We the people are the rightful masters of both Congress and the courts, not to overthrow the Constitution but to overthrow the men who pervert the Constitution."
Which came first, the First Amendment of the Bill of Rights (BOR) or Article V? Article V in 1787. The BOR was in 1792. Logically, Article V should contain the right to freedom of speech. Why doesn't it?
I would suggest that in 1787, the framers could not imagine free speech being abridged in the way it has been by mass media and electronic communications.
The 99% seeks direct control over the federal government via a petition for redress of grievances but the First Amendment does not provide for such authority only the right to petition.
The First Amendment is to be upheld by the people through Article V, because the two concepts are a part of the same action. Free speech and decision making of legal process that uses verified information in selecting action equaling adaptation and change.
That congress has violated our first right, the law of the land, their oaths AND criminal statutes, is our first grievance. For, if they had not have done that, we might not have grievances now.
Free speech, campaign finance reform and secured voting systems are fundamental to restoring democracy. Due to the 100 year deprivation of our first right, it is justified that all states have democratically elected delegates. There is a poll at this thread to approve the concept of preparatory amendments assuring constitutional intent before convening an Article V convention. There is a poll on a thread about preparatory amendment here.

Following simple and logical legal process and strategy cannot fail us.
