Our document is posted on our webpage online. Let us thank the style committee for their hard work and dedication. There is a comments' box for all to voice their opinions. Thank you. www.the99declaration.org ;D

The Committee on Style has done its work faithfully, diligently and expeditiously. Especially in light of the fact that the the 99% Declaration Working Group, Ltd. and its Steering Committee only turned sufficient materials over to the Style Committee for them to do their work in late July. Now it's time for each delegate to read and digest their Draft Petition, and decide if (s)he can, in good faith, attach his/her name to it, on behalf of themselves and their constituents. Today is August 11th.
Would someone who can speak for the corporation (i.e. someone from the 99% Working Group, Ltd.'s board or from the Steering Committee) please tell us how long we have to opt-in or opt-out.
In my view, the deadline should be Sunday, August 19, 2012, by midnight.
In my view, only those who affirmative opt-in should be listed as signers. A) What's the deadline for opt-in/opt-out?
B) What's the default directive for delegates you do not hear from?
C) How do we register our choice, formally, with you?
Quizzically,
David Itkin VA-11

The comment above has disappeared from the comments section to the Draft Petition.
Trusting that this was a glitch, and not purposeful, I've reposted it there.

The sound of crickets chirping is becoming deafening. Is there any chance that the Keystone Kops can give us some idea about WTF the process for opting in will be?
Now that KJ has shared with us, in the comments to the Draft Petition page, the kind of chicken shit the Style Committee had to work with, the fact that they managed to make some semblance of chicken salad out if of it is damn-near miraculous.
C'mon, Steering Committee (and your corporate sponsor, the 99% Declaration Working Group, Ltd.)
Probability is heavily in your favor at this point for getting SOMETHING right.
What's the process for opting in? What's the deadline?
The bar is set so low that even a corporation capable of screwing up a two-car funeral has a shot at making a decent call.
Here's a hint: Silence is not it.

How about we send the document to anyone we might know that is working on the party platforms for the upcoming conventions? Any ideas how to go about that? I attached a .pdf of the Declaration including the petition to this in case anyone knows how to go about that. Cheers, KJ Attachments:
