I'll be there with laptop and my phone can operate as a wifi hotspot. I have a 2.5 gig max, but I can purchase additional bandwidth and will gladly do so to help out with our internet access.

I will be bringing a 4G hotspot, 3G phone, and a laptop, but do we know if they'll work in the convention center?

I will have my laptop with me... I just hope they have lots of power outlets, because the battery life on this thing sucks.

Ten attendees so far per the above responses. Did anyone receive at least a list to date of confirmed delegate attendees from the SC?

I'm going. Flight was a bit out of ol' pocket book, but since I have never been to Philly, I'm making a week of it. So, I intend to give 100% of my waking hours to this project, and perhaps spend a day or two checking out our amazing heritage that Philadelphia has to offer.

Well, I never been to Spain, But I been to Oklahoma. Oh they tell me I was born there, But I really don't remember. In Oklahoma, Not Arizona. What does it matter?
Well, I never been to England, But I kinda like the Beatles. I was headed for Las Vegas, But I only got to Needles.
(I forget the rest of the words)

My roll call affirmation may have to be redacted.
I'm trying to figure out funding and, as of yet, have not managed to find a place to stay. I also have not had the courage to look at how much it's going to cost to park there for three nights.
I will do my best to attend, but right now, the most probable outcome is that I will not be able to make it.

Matt, check out the room sharing thread to at least save some $ on a hotel room. I know the room that I'm staying in has a couple more spots.

Thank you Dawn for the RSVP update.
There have been numerous announcements by the SC/Board inviting all of the 787 (elected and non-elected) delegates to attend the CC2.0 in person.
Two Questions:
(1) How many delegates out of the 787 maximum were actually contacted directly by email or other method of communication asking for a RSVP response for attendance at the CC2.0?
(2) How many total delegate responses did the the SC receive to date (with such responses being yes, no, maybe, not sure, get with me later, I will let you know later, etc.)?

All of the delegates were contacted by email through the email blast to RSVP. How many actually received the email, I don't know. That is one of the many problems with communication.
A count has not been kept of the few that have RSVPed to say they weren't coming. Just a guess but I'd say less than 10. A few have said they would like to come but don't have the money.

Thank you Dawn for the response. I know it's a daunting challenge for the SC to achieve important communication objectives if there are insufficient necessary resources (people, money, technology, etc.). Rough Tally of the RSVP: 1) All delegates contacted =787+~. 2) Number of delegates that actually received the "email blast" = unknown. . 2) Number of delegates that have confirmed attendance = 97= 12.3%. 3) Delegates that have RSVPed to say they weren't coming= say 10. 4) Delegates that have RSVPed to say they would like to come but don't have the money = say 8. Total Responses from the "email blast" = 115 +~. I was hopeful that a much larger number of delegates would have responded (above the 97); specifically, those that could not afford to attend. If there were .....say 100-200 delegates that are not attending because of travel costs, perhaps a significant number of such declining delegates would be willing to donate a $25-$50 to pay for the approximate $4,000 cost of the Live Media Streaming and Voting/Polling service. 99declaration.proboards.com/index....=130&page=1#859Do you and Matt think that another RSVP "email blast" to the delegates would yield additional favorable responses if the email content is elaborated to include the lack of funds for Live Media Streaming and Voting/Polling service and requesting donation assistance? I recognize it's the 11th hour and sometimes people go beyond extraordinary difficulties if they are fully informed of opportunities and benefits that exceed the problem at hand.
